A journey of grace, gratitude, and growing together in faith — celebrating a decade of love, service, and sisterhood.

16th May 2025

From 16th to 18th May 2025, we came together for a joyful and meaningful three-day gathering to celebrate a significant milestone in our religious journey: ten years since our final profession. It was a time of deep spiritual renewal, heartfelt sharing, and strengthening of the bonds that unite us in our vocation.

Throughout the days, we participated in four formative and inspiring classes, each of which offered us space to reflect, learn, and reconnect with the heart of our call.

Our first session, on “Vocation and the Challenges of Community Life”, was led by Fr. Vinu MCBS. It was an interactive and engaging session that opened up a safe space for honest questions and dialogue. We were able to voice our doubts, seek clarification, and gain fresh insights into the dynamics of community living.

The second class focused on “The Life and Legacy of our Founder, St John Antony Farina”. Guided by Rev. Sr. Angela Pallikkara, we journeyed through the life of our founder, his spiritual vision, and the values he instilled in our congregation. This session deepened our appreciation for our charism and helped renew our sense of mission as his spiritual daughters.

Our third session, on Spiritual Exercises, was facilitated by Rev. Sr. Biji Mulackal. Through simple yet profound practices, we were invited to reflect more deeply on our relationship with God and rediscover the value of prayer and contemplation in our daily lives. It was a reminder of the inner stillness we often long for amidst the busyness of our apostolic service.

The final class, led by our Provincial Superior, Rev. Sr. Shiny Muttathottil, was dedicated to Gratitude and Reflection. We looked back over the past seventeen years of our journey – from the early days of formation to our current path – with grateful hearts. This space allowed us to name our blessings, acknowledge our growth, and commit ourselves afresh to living our consecrated life with greater depth and joy.

On the second day, we embarked on a spiritual outing – a pilgrimage to several churches in the region. This part of our gathering offered a unique opportunity to reconnect with the sacred in the places where so many faithful have prayed before us.

We began at the historic Edapally Church, where we paused to reflect on our very first experiences of God’s call. From there, we travelled to the beautiful Aroor Church, taking in its stunning architecture and atmosphere of quiet reverence.

Next, we visited the renowned Arthunkal Church, a place of pilgrimage for many. Here, we offered personal prayers, shared stories of how our vocations began, and sought new strength for the path ahead. Our final stop was the peaceful Thanki Church, where we concluded the pilgrimage in silent prayer and thanksgiving.

Later that day, we made our way to Fort Kochi Beach – a moment of rest and joyful community. With the sea breeze on our faces and the sound of the waves all around us, we walked together along the shore, shared ice cream, watched the sunset, and laughed freely. It was a beautiful moment of sisterhood, simple and refreshing.

As the three days drew to a close, each of us carried home not just memories but renewed enthusiasm for our vocation, a deeper connection to our community, and a fresh commitment to live our consecrated life with love and purpose.

We give thanks to God for this opportunity – for the years that have passed, the graces received, and the journey still unfolding before us. May we continue to walk together, faithfully and joyfully, in service of His Kingdom.
