Gathering of our sisters in health sector

13 September 2025


On September 13th one day program was conducted for the sisters who are working in health sector at Archana Provincial house. Around twenty sisters were present. The program was organized by Sr. Mercy Kuriyickal. The main aim of the day is to refresh the sisters with motivational talks, sharing and discussing our experience in hospital services and to enhance our community spirit.

The program began with prayer service. During prayer Tablo presentation on good Samaritan was presented followed by lamp lighting ceremony. The prayer was a beautiful experience made in all. Then Sr. Mercy Kuriyickal welcomed the sisters for meeting and motivated us to Know ourselves. She advised to us forget ourselves while we are working in hospital to make our great service for the sick and suffering. Provincial superior Sr. Shiny also appreciated and spoke about sisters to continue our service with more dedication in hospitals and motivated us to witness our charism with the values of amiability, tenderness and compassion among the sick. Then we had one hour session from Sr. Mercy Kuriyickal on health awareness topic: Diabetes Mellitus that was good discussional topic updated our knowledge.

The second session was led by Fr Augustine Kallely on Community life, he said that our main aim must be doing everything for the Glory of God and for the salvation of souls. He highlighted and spoke on three main points; Mission Orientation, Self Definition, Emotional Management which was happily received by all and refreshed our community and mission spirit.

Later around 2pm we had recreational outing and returned back to Archana convent by 7 pm. The sisters expressed their joy at being part of such a vibrant program. The gathering concluded with vote of thanks and singing Psalms and hymns to God for the great day. The gathering was a great success provided both professional enrichment and recreational refreshment. Thank you…
